This o-ring is supplied in AS568-107 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.206 in (5.23 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.412 in (10.46 mm), catalogued under part number V75MD107. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.

This item meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, aerospace, and semiconductor equipment.
