This o-ring is supplied in AS568-141 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 2.3 in (58.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.506 in (63.65 mm), catalogued under part number V75MD141. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines.
