-147 BLUE FKM 75D O-RING

APG stocks the V75MD147, an AS568-147 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.675 in (67.95 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.881 in (73.18 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include chemical processing, semiconductor equipment, and aerospace.
