V75MD151 is an AS568-151 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.987 in (75.87 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.193 in (81.1 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, automotive fuel systems, and aerospace.
