This o-ring is supplied in AS568-159 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 4.987 in (126.67 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.193 in (131.9 mm), catalogued under part number V75MD159. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, chemical processing, and aerospace.
