Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, aerospace, and oil and gas.
