V75MD243 is an AS568-243 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.109 in (104.37 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.387 in (111.43 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to amines or hot water and steam will shorten service life.

This item meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include oil and gas, aerospace, and automotive fuel systems.
