This o-ring is supplied in AS568-245 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 4.359 in (110.72 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.637 in (117.78 mm), catalogued under part number V75MD245. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or amines.
