-256 BLUE FKM 75D O-RING

The V75MD256 is an AS568-256 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.734 in (145.64 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.012 in (152.7 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
