V75MD269 is an AS568-269 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.734 in (221.84 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.012 in (228.9 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
