Ordered as V75MD271, this is an AS568-271 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 9.234 in (234.54 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.512 in (241.6 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include high-temperature process equipment, aerospace, and semiconductor equipment.
