-282 BLUE FKM 75D O-RING

The V75MD282 is an AS568-282 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.233 in (412.32 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, aerospace, and semiconductor equipment.
