Ordered as V75MD315, this is an AS568-315 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.787 in (19.99 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.207 in (30.66 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
