-316 BLUE FKM 75D O-RING

APG stocks the V75MD316, an AS568-316 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.85 in (21.59 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.27 in (32.26 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists chlorinated solvents, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. You will find this material specified across aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and high-temperature process equipment.
