Ordered as V75MD319, this is an AS568-319 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.037 in (26.34 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.457 in (37.01 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or amines call for a different compound.
