Part number V75MD328 is an AS568-328 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.85 in (46.99 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.27 in (57.66 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, semiconductor equipment, and chemical processing.
