Ordered as V75MD358, this is an AS568-358 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.6 in (142.24 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.02 in (152.91 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, semiconductor equipment, and chemical processing.
