-388 BLUE FKM 75D O-RING

The V75MD388 is an AS568-388 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 18.953 in (481.41 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 19.373 in (492.07 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) offers outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters are present.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include semiconductor equipment, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.
