-405 BLUE FKM 75D O-RING

The V75MD405 is an AS568-405 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.975 in (50.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.525 in (64.14 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, aerospace, and semiconductor equipment.
