-429 BLUE FKM 75D O-RING

V75MD429 is an AS568-429 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.975 in (126.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.525 in (140.34 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.

This item meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and high-temperature process equipment.
