-440 BLUE FKM 75D O-RING

The V75MD440 is an AS568-440 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.725 in (170.82 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.275 in (184.79 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in oil and gas, semiconductor equipment, and aerospace.
