The V75MD449 is an AS568-449 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.975 in (253.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.525 in (267.34 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
