V75MD472 is an AS568-472 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 22.94 in (582.68 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 23.49 in (596.65 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where amines or ketones and esters are present.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in oil and gas, aerospace, and automotive fuel systems.
