APG stocks the V75MD912, an AS568-912 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.924 in (23.47 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.156 in (29.36 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to amines or ketones and esters will shorten service life.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include automotive fuel systems, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
