-023 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70MD023, an AS568-023 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.051 in (26.7 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.191 in (30.25 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is specified here for physiological inertness and low toxicity, exceptionally wide service temperature range. Expect good resistance to dry heat, ozone and UV exposure, and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Exposure to abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range will shorten service life.
