-025 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70MD025 is an AS568-025 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.176 in (29.87 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.316 in (33.43 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against extreme heat and cold, many oxidizing chemicals, and weathering. Silicone is known for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to steam above its rated range or concentrated acids will shorten service life.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include pharmaceutical manufacturing, ovens and heated equipment, and sanitary process lines.
