Product Specification

-
The S70MD036 is an AS568-036 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.364 in (60.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.504 in (63.6 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to ozone and UV exposure, dry heat, and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone delivers excellent electrical insulating properties and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service are present.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. You will find this material specified across food and beverage processing, medical devices, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Reference part number S70MD036 when ordering; the item is sold individually. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing.
