-039 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70MD039, an AS568-039 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.739 in (69.57 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.879 in (73.13 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Silicone is specified here for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. This material stands up to weathering, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range are present.
