-045 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70MD045 is an AS568-045 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.989 in (101.32 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.129 in (104.88 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and weathering. Silicone is known for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrocarbon fuels and oils or steam above its rated range.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across pharmaceutical manufacturing, ovens and heated equipment, and food and beverage processing.
