S70MD107 is an AS568-107 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.206 in (5.23 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.412 in (10.46 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is known for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. It resists extreme heat and cold, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Applications involving steam above its rated range or abrasive dynamic service call for a different compound.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include electronics and electrical enclosures, sanitary process lines, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
