-122 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70MD122 is an AS568-122 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.112 in (28.24 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.318 in (33.48 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against extreme heat and cold, weathering, and many oxidizing chemicals. Silicone is valued for excellent electrical insulating properties and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where concentrated acids or steam above its rated range are present.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include ovens and heated equipment, electronics and electrical enclosures, and medical devices.
