-126 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-126 red Silicone 70 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 1.362 in (34.59 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.568 in (39.83 mm), catalogued under part number S70MD126. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Silicone is valued for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and very good compression set resistance across its range. The material holds up against dry heat, ozone and UV exposure, and many oxidizing chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service.
