-135 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD135 is an AS568-135 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.925 in (48.9 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.131 in (54.13 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to dry heat, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone offers an exceptionally wide service temperature range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. You will find this material specified across pharmaceutical manufacturing, sanitary process lines, and medical devices.
