The S70MD136 is an AS568-136 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.987 in (50.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.193 in (55.7 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to extreme heat and cold, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is known for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving abrasive dynamic service or hydrocarbon fuels and oils call for a different compound.
