-146 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD146 is an AS568-146 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.612 in (66.34 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.818 in (71.58 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Silicone offers very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. It resists many oxidizing chemicals, weathering, and dry heat. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include food and beverage processing, electronics and electrical enclosures, and medical devices.
