Product Specification

-
S70MD155 is an AS568-155 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.987 in (101.27 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.193 in (106.5 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists ozone and UV exposure, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone offers an exceptionally wide service temperature range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. You will find this material specified across food and beverage processing, electronics and electrical enclosures, and medical devices.

S70MD155 ships individually. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing. APG supports cross-referencing from drawings, samples and competitor numbers when a listed size is not an exact fit.
