Ordered as S70MD165, this is an AS568-165 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.487 in (164.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.693 in (170 mm). The o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Expect good resistance to weathering, dry heat, and many oxidizing chemicals. Silicone delivers an exceptionally wide service temperature range and excellent electrical insulating properties. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in pharmaceutical manufacturing, food and beverage processing, and electronics and electrical enclosures.
