-201 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70MD201, an AS568-201 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.171 in (4.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.449 in (11.4 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Silicone is valued for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and excellent electrical insulating properties. It resists weathering, ozone and UV exposure, and many oxidizing chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or hydrocarbon fuels and oils.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include electronics and electrical enclosures, medical devices, and ovens and heated equipment.
