-213 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70MD213 is an AS568-213 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.921 in (23.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.199 in (30.45 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is specified for physiological inertness and low toxicity, very good compression set resistance across its range. This material stands up to many oxidizing chemicals, extreme heat and cold, and ozone and UV exposure. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to abrasive dynamic service or concentrated acids will shorten service life.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in medical devices, food and beverage processing, and electronics and electrical enclosures.
