-219 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Part number S70MD219 is an AS568-219 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.296 in (32.92 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.574 in (39.98 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Silicone is valued for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and very good compression set resistance across its range. It resists weathering, many oxidizing chemicals, and extreme heat and cold. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving steam above its rated range or concentrated acids call for a different compound.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across electronics and electrical enclosures, sanitary process lines, and ovens and heated equipment.
