The S70MD245 is an AS568-245 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.359 in (110.72 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.637 in (117.78 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists ozone and UV exposure, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is widely chosen for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and very good compression set resistance across its range. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
