-249 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Ordered as S70MD249, this is an AS568-249 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.859 in (123.42 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.137 in (130.48 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone delivers flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Expect good resistance to weathering, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in steam above its rated range or abrasive dynamic service.
