-255 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70MD255, an AS568-255 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.609 in (142.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.887 in (149.53 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Silicone is specified here for very good compression set resistance across its range and excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to extreme heat and cold, weathering, and dry heat. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.
