-264 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70MD264, an AS568-264 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.484 in (190.09 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.762 in (197.15 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is specified here for exceptionally wide service temperature range and excellent electrical insulating properties. The material holds up against dry heat, weathering, and many oxidizing chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to steam above its rated range or concentrated acids will shorten service life.
