-274 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70MD274 is an AS568-274 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 9.984 in (253.59 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.262 in (260.65 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Silicone is valued for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to weathering, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving concentrated acids or hydrocarbon fuels and oils call for a different compound.
