-275 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD275 is an AS568-275 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 10.484 in (266.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.762 in (273.35 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is specified here for physiological inertness and low toxicity, very good compression set resistance across its range. The compound resists ozone and UV exposure, extreme heat and cold, and weathering. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in electronics and electrical enclosures, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and medical devices.
