-280 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70MD280 is an AS568-280 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 13.984 in (355.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.262 in (362.25 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is widely chosen for physiological inertness and low toxicity, an exceptionally wide service temperature range. The compound resists many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service are present.
