S70MD326 is an AS568-326 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.6 in (40.64 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.02 in (51.31 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Silicone is specified for excellent electrical insulating properties, physiological inertness and low toxicity. This material stands up to many oxidizing chemicals, extreme heat and cold, and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across electronics and electrical enclosures, sanitary process lines, and food and beverage processing.
