S70MD339 is an AS568-339 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.225 in (81.92 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.645 in (92.58 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and many oxidizing chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is valued for physiological inertness and low toxicity, flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or steam above its rated range.
