Ordered as S70MD341, this is an AS568-341 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.475 in (88.27 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.895 in (98.93 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists dry heat, many oxidizing chemicals, and weathering. Silicone is specified for physiological inertness and low toxicity, flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
